DOWNLOAD MOZILLA 1.4 ASAP!

Although Safari has had this for a while, Mozilla now has a really kewl feature that blocks popups! Yay!

But yeah, I'd love to use Safari, but:

a) I have to have my PeeCee at uni

b) Even so, my iMac has 10.1, and Safari don't work on 10.1.

Is this different from how it blocked pop-ups before? I thought mozilla had been blocking pop-ups for a while. Even Netscape finally picked up support on the last release.

If I recall, the "family pack" was for computers in your own "family"....

get a few more OSX machines danny

although, we all know that Apple's legal orchard department is much nicer than microsoft's anyway... espceially with the EULA...

I recently downloaded the Safari update, only it said it couldn't install because I was already running a newer version...

That is quite strange, though I had the same problem a while back. I just re-downloaded it and it worked.

I tried Mozilla on OSX and I just don't like the way it looks. Safari has become my browser of choice, though I do primarily use Mozilla under Red Hat and Windows 2000 in VPC.

The only reasons i use Mozilla are:

a) There's no version of Safari for my WinBox

b) At the moment, I haven't tried Safari on the iMac. I'm going to, though.

yah know, my friend (being the master hacker he is) decompiled TypeIt4Me OSX, and recompiled it in another distro of unix, and it "worked just like windows apps do!" (meaning it crashes at random intervals, and the main screen is inverted) he does reeeeeally impressive things, because the easy way for him is the hard way for everyone else. I must learn from him... anyhoo, where this is going, I'll try and get him to recompile safari so it's X11 compatible, and give it to EVERYONE! AHHAHAAHAH!! even ML5 can enjoy the wonders of safari with slightly less stability! heheheh
