howdy, I just thought i'd announce my latest project that i will get halfway done with and never finish

I'm either going to build a modular Moog analog synthesizer from schematics or design my own and build it. I want it to look like this:

if anybody knows anything about these things, i'd love some advice, because if i have to "roll my own" i haven't the slightest clue where to start...
