....about dumb terminals.

There was this lady i knew, with a normal Windows 98 PC. However, she suddenly decided that she'd like to access it from anywhere in the house. So she bought a whole bunch of dumb terminals, and gave me the job of setting everything up. She made me put two terminals in each room of the house. Once it was all set up and everything, it worked great! To test the system we both streamed movies off the net and played games, and the system didnt' slow down at all!

Then of course.....i woke up..........

heh...

...and then we remembered what Windows 98 is *really like*

WYSE, Compaq and for awhile, even Dell made windows CE based thin clients and dummyterminals...

theyre meant to be used with windows 2000/nt4 terminal server though...
