Lets see it is about 700 miles each way. And I estimate that the whole lot weighs about 1 ton.

Rent a covered traler about $35 per day x 4 days. = $140
On the way there pulling an empty trailer I would estimate about 15 MPG.
So that would be aprox 47 gal of fuel @ 1.48/gal = $70
On the way back estimate about 12 MPG.
So that would be approx 59 gal of fuel @ 1.48/gal = $88
2 nights hotel stay @ 50/night = $100
Food and other Misc expenses = $50
Purchase price of the lot = $5

Total = $453
Or without trailer rental = $313

Big lots like these have to be close by or have a few people going in on them to them worth while.

Still if I could I would.

Life is like Jeopardy you have all the answers, you just need the questions.

Same with me. If I could, I would. Then I would organize it and sell anything I didnt want on ebay.

I figured somebody would be close by. I am not, and would never buy a lot that large because I have no place to store it, and having 20 units of 1 model number dont do anything for me. Whats the scrap value of a lot that large? It could keep an ebay seller busy for a while.

If I got that home and in the basement its instant divorce, my SAF is quite low these days, too many acquisitions will do it every time. Looks like fun though.
