just got off my back porch.. MAN that looks awesome!

the moon fades from black at the bottom to a muddy brown at the top... i assume this is the penumbra and the umbra will completely blacken the whole thing later tonite? in any case its frickin awesome.

is this just over the USA, or where else is the lunar eclipse visible tonite?

Those big storms that rolled through the midwest finally made it to the East Coast. The sky is completely clouded over. I can't see the eclipse.
