Ok, I'll say it now....

I Have A Caffiene Addiction.

It's expensive, and it's fun, although i do get sick of it sometimes...especially when you consider that Coke costs about AU$2 per bottle. Now, to try and stop this bloody coke addiction....

And no, don't tell me to try coffee!

I don't drink soda. I gave it up for Lent, and I haven't had any since then. It's basically sugar water (or more accurately, high fructose corn syrup water). Not good for me by any means.

I prefer a more concentrated caffeine installer. A double shot of espresso is the .sit form of caffeine. It will definitely turn off processor cycling in the morning. Of course too much caffeine is like excessive overclocking -- things start running hot and unstable.

Caffeine is my saviour. I've had problems with migraines on & off since forever, and the only consistent fix for them that works on me is a double strength instant coffee, with two tablespoons of sugar, and a couple of aspirin as soon as I see the auras of a migraine starting. Usually I'm back to normal within an hour

It's heaven to have them fixed so quickly. Without that little fix I could be hiding in a darkened room for 2-3 days.

3 cheers for caffeine!

Actually, for me, it goes like this:

Coca-cola is the .sit form of caffiene, it reduces excessive processor cycles, and therefore cools down the system and makes everything more responsive.

Excessive consumption of Alcoholic breverages, however, are like excessive overclocking....if you want to see what I'm like when I get drunk, grab your nearest G3/300 and OC it to 500 Mhz and see what happens.... And you'll see what can happen to me when i have 4 cans of Bundy Rum and Cola.

Oh yeah, Dana, caffiene is also my saviour, too. I've sometimes found it to reduce or eliminate headaches, and worked wonders for reducing my depression symptoms back last year in Da Year From Hell.

It's also great to sit back, relax with a Coke and watch a new movie.

However, iDo believe that i've had too much of a good thing.

I can easily relate to that. I used to get them the worst back in the Junior High, but have kept the caffiene intake rather steady since over the last decade and a half. Rarely have a headache now.

So true! After too much alcohol, the old cranial processor simply refuses to boot up.

Mine does, but it's rather instable, and crashes a bit (literally! ever tried to use a Coke machine with that much in you....well....you can't. )

I've been addicted to Coke since our club sells it for 86c a can (chilled).
As a matter of fact, tomorrow I'm off to buy 300 cans for the low, low price of $139.90.

Since I'm going to be going on a 10 detoxifying fast, I'm on a plan to cut down on my caffine so I don't get a massive withdrawal headache.

Right now, I'm down to one cup of tea in the morning.

(I miss diet Coke.)

I am in love with caffene. I am not addicted, though I do consume it in bursts erratically (ie, six shots of espresso I am going to have tomorrow morning, I have had a hankering for that since last month) Coke/diet coke are consumed less than root beer, partially since all of the nasty things coke can do to metal and other things.

random caffene fact: rats injected with caffene reacted as though they were fed a strong aphrodesiac. (if you dont know what an aphrodesiac is, google for it, though only if you are over 18)

it was in the paper today ;)

Also, caffeine is a great appetite suppressant.
We've actually got a limited supply of Jolt, for the princeley sum of $1.50.

Yeah, and the 300 cans will last the club about 2 weeks...

Same here. I drink it at university, but not at home, because my parents hate the stuff. But yes, I would like to report an unsuccessful mission. Here i am, sitting at my Dell, typing this, drinking COKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah well, there's always next time....
