As of Tomorrow, i expect that i shoudl no longer be unemployed for the time being.

At the student refectory here at uni, they advertise jobs, and there was one going for a web designer. I sent an email saying that I am interested in doing the job, and that I have a lot of experience with designing webpages, and that I am studying IT. They asked me for a quote, and I emailed them back tonight with my quote. I am charging AU$30 for the home page, and AU$15 for every page after that. There's 10 other pages, and I did the calculations, so if i get the job, i'll be $180 richer....which means i will be able to finally get a digicam, and have money to spare! To tell you the truth, at first I was going to start the Buy A Holden Commodore Fund™, but seeing as though I don't have a license yet, plus the fact that i want a digicam, i think the Buy a Digital Camera Fund™ would be a better idea. On top of that, I wanna take some piccies at the upcoming College Ball!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Deal!!! Of course I'm not sure who's getting the better end of it. I've seen prices more inflated than that not counting the exchange rate here in the US. Let's see some demo's, maybe there's some work you could do for some of the companies here.

Ok, they're currently holding a meeting deciding whose application gets the nod. Wish me luck!

Those prices sound pretty cheap so if it's going by cost you should be in. Did you show them any of your previous work?

The last website I worked on I was getting 30 AUD an hour after tax, sweet sweet money! Having said that I don't mind doing websites cheap as it's one of the few things I actually enjoy (that I can earn money from!).

What kind of camera do you plan on getting for 180 AUD? Personally I'd look at getting something second hand if that;s all you have, you'd certainly get something older but it would probably be better resolution than a new cheap camera. Having said that I have an advert for a PC cam 850, fair enough it's 100 AUD more than you want to spend but it's 3 MP.

Whatever you do make sure you see some pics from the camera before you buy. Where I used to a work a guy had a no name 2 MP camera which in theory should have produced results as good as mine but it was seriously lacking, quite grainy too..

Yeah I know. Different cameras produce different results.
