Hehehe, I am tired, and I thought I'd post this.

IBM has an operating system called VMS, which is a stable server platform. Windows has a (comapritivly) stable OS called Windows New Technology.

take VMS

shift each of the letters one space to the right in the alphabet

what do you get?

WNT, or windows NT.

lets hear what everyone has to rag on about this.

I hear if you post a message on a microsoft newsgroup with your real email address while saying "os2 rules" bill gates will go into a daze and know everything about you and try to help you. He will send you emails on enlarging your very small penis, how to lose that weight, find you a place that will grow your hair back, some killer stock picks, how to work at home and make $5000 a week, and lost of pictures of naked women you can have phone sex with for $5 a minute!

Try it and tell me how it works, at least you will be busy enough deleting spam that you wont be buggin us with you constipated.. err conspiracy theries

Actually, VMS was created by Digital Equipment Corp, who was acquired by Compaq, who was acquired by HP, who will be acquired by..... Version 1.0 of VMS came out in 1978 and was used extensively of DEC's VAX computers. IBM did have an OS called VM that was a "virtual machine" OS for the IBM 370 and later computers.

If you want conspiracy, look at how version numbers on Microsoft's MSN jumped to directly to MSN 7 in 2001. There is no MSN 6, 5, 4, ... Microsoft did this to make their software look like it had been around for as long as AOL's had. I'd call that deceptive advertising.

blarg, I shoulda known better that it was not IBM, but it was one oclock in the morning, and I forgot that nomenclature of IBM in that era included at least ONE forewardslash somewhere in the name. DEC Schmeck, (or schmeek or whatever floats your boat).

PS: speaking of slashes, does anyone know OJ's Email address? answer in the next issue of "Clinton's ignorantly formed random conspiracy theories"
