Hey folks-
Just thought that I'd mention that Ambrosia Softwares' Escape Velocity: NOVA totally kicks ass! I bought it a few days ago, and managed to finish one (out of 6) of the major plotlines last night.
Okay, that's it. Just a little PSA.

Yeah, the game is quite cool, I haven't played in a while (been too busy with vendetta; http://vendetta.guildsoftware.com , prety much a 3D version of EV btw   ). I have beaten 4 of the plot lines, and it is amazing how long, hard, and intricate they are. Yeah, that's the one I just finished... I'm hoping that it is easier then the rest, as I didn't really have much trouble getting through it...
Do you recommend any plugins for Nova?

(wakes up)...EVN? I'm working on a plug right now for EVN... EVN Omega. I have a bunch of pictures here. I'm also looking for someone to work with me from the MLA on the project. If anyone is interested, here are the two requirements I have:
- must have registered EVN (to run plugs)
- must have broadband (current plug size is 46MB) ------------------

Well, it's not quite beta testing, seeing as it's still 2 years away from that point. This is more like "early development" testing. Basicly, the things I'm looking for with testers to find balancing issues, between ship prices and powers, outfit pricing, and weapons balancing. ------------------

Well, if anyone's still an original EV playing person, you could also try out my last plug, the Cygnus Alliance, available at Ambrosia's Site (29th most downloaded plug at 1688 downloads) or my site. I released it last year, but unfortunetly, there were things I never did to it I wished I did, and it had some problems (again, ship balancing, pricing issues, few new missions)------------------

<shameless plug> Well, if you are looking for plugins, you could always try Polycon EV (http://www.evula.org/anubis/). One of the easter egg ships is a Mac Plus. </shameless plug>I have also heard that Ronin is fairly good. You should be able to download it from Ambrosia's addons page.
