Not 8k related I expect,

WE have, have had,

wax cylinder
Vynll disc
cassette
7 Track
mini disk
cd

There is another format, you can win it at Brighton pleasure beach(though I failed at this). It is about 5cm by 5cm & on a keyring I believe.

I want to know the name so that I can search on ebay for it.

I have a mission to own & experience as many media formats as possible.

So far I have experienced;

Vynll
cd
floppy disk
hard drive
video cassette
cartridge

A few more to go yet!
