hi all-

i am new here and not sure what forum this belongs in.

i am looking for a place to get OLD apps, specifically illustrator 1.x. i just got a performa 200 that i would like to set up for fun. i have some games and stuff but since i am an graphic designer i thought that it would be cool to load the apps that started that whole thing. any ideas where to start looking?

thanks,
phatturtle

You might want to download the Hotline client and check out Laxxs Hotline server at:

retromac68k.dyndns.org
l/ retro p/ retro

You'll find what you are looking for on there. Of course, you should own original copies of any software you download!

I think the retromac68k server has original versions of QuarkXPress and PageMaker and Photoshop... not that they'll run on that mac but it'd be cool to see.

That sounds great! We all love it when people set up their servers for us to upload and download to/from...

I have purchased a few early 90's mac apps in box from ebay and LEM swap list. I would really like to find a few more myself.

Last find was Mathematica 2.2 and filepro (cant remeber version) box, manuals, disks, serials and all.
Also have a freehand (2 versions) premiere 3, and a few others.

I mostly want them for the manuals since the disks are easy to find (I have the complete photoshop 3 and poagemaker 6 box+manuals coming in the mail no media).

I should be able to make a nice quadra era library in a few years

I am really looking for a good c/c++ in box (with manuals) program for the mac 68k.

Would like one for the dos/win3x era PC also.

I'm sorry... can't help ya there... mostly it was Office apps that I got... I'd say that there might be a copy you can DL (sans manuals) from one/more of the HL servers though...
