 The functions of NUBUS ?

i'm sorry but i just want to know, what is the function of NUBUS ?
what devices can we install on it ?

one more question, the 7100/80 PDS slot is filled. What does that mean ? can't i put anything on the PDS slot since it's filled now ?

Sonnet makes a cable/adapter card setup to allow the use of one of their Accelerators in the PDS along with the AV or HPV video card which is moved to, but not interfaced with, the NuBus slot next to the PDS.
