Yes hotline is a good thing, must have. so on with what to do.... First get off that POS machine that is a poor excuse for a computer. hehe.... THEN got to either download.com -or- BigRedH.com and download the client. Follow all the install instructions....blah blah blah Once it is installed open it up and cruise around. Documentation is nice. If you feel like browsing the 68k MLA hotline server (run by yours truly) enter: 68k.torpedobird.com into the addy filed and connect. That should be it. ~The Penguin |Captain, Intelligence Operations| |Macs liberated: 3| |Windoze users converted: 2|

if youre going to do it off of your 650, you'll need a 68k hotline client which are not commercially available anymore. I'm not sure where to get one besides a hotline server. You could get a PC client and download the 68k client from our server and transfer it to your 650. That would be a pain.{ candyPunk } { Captain of Observation, 68k MLA } { Macs liberated: 6 } { My baby: Q660av } |

Hotline is very useful, but weeding through all of the pornography gets kinda annoying.-------------------- FireWire is fast General, 4 star beholder of the Quadra/Centris Stick of Justice™ |

Ahhhh... but since we already have a couple of 68k servers for ourselves, we don't need to worry, do we? :) GORDOOM Commander, Academic Operations Reserve (University of Toronto, St. George Campus) total Macs liberated: 14 (as of January 7, 2002) "...the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." |
