Does anyone know of a Guru/ Apple Spec Database type application for the Palm OS. I would like to be able to refer to machine spec's in the field, but I have been unable to find any databases for the Palm.AnubisTTP, Tank Commander, Bolo Division 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Macs Liberated:22 |

Sounds like it's time we got together and made one, I know I'd find it handy and I think quite a few of us must have palms. Is there any palm development software for the mac though? I no a recent codewarrior palm app was canned but it might just have been to do with the latest palm OS.Am I right in thinking there is a way to use FMPro databases on Palms? -------- LC 2, LC 3, Q605, Perf 638, Colour Classic (160 603e) 6100, 7200, PTP 225 (Quad 604), PM 9600, G4 Cube |

Well, it is possible to export the contents of the spec database as text, but the resulting file is a real mess, and even if someone went through and cleaned it up, scrolling through a 40 page text file on a palm would not exactly be efficent. Maybe it could be manually entered into some sort of spreadsheet application.AnubisTTP, Tank Commander, Bolo Division 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Macs Liberated:22 |

Could also be an option to convert the http://www.info.apple.com/support/applespec.legacy/index.html page to iSilo format using iSiloX? Atleast it's something. Gotta try that.------------ Close the world, txEn eht nepO 68k Macs Liberated: 10 |

Untill i (or somebody else) gets the free time to something like that i think i'll use the converted page. A lot of scrolling and it's 733kb big, but.. ------------ Close the world, txEn eht nepO 68k Macs Liberated: 10 |
