I have a Performa 5200CD with a dead power supply and moniter (inbuilt). Can an external power supply and moniter be hooked up with this machine? Has anyone done any other hacks to a Performa 5200CD?

You should be able to put that mobo into a desktop case no problem, long as you know a lil bit about electricity, and can find the pinouts of the wiring harness (I know they exist, but I am pressed on time right now.) Hooking up a PSU from there will jsut involve getting the right voltage to the right wire on the wiring harness. The monitor connector should be a DB15, somewhere along the wiring maze inside there.

If you can find yourself a case from a 6200, 630, or 6300 you can slide the motherboard right on in and it'll be like it was never in an AIO.
Possible Hacks?
