I have some collection, some of it I got free and it's worth giving away, others I've spent money on, but I don't want to get it 100% back.
Rather not deal with shipping.
Send me an e-mail:

Well, I was in the Chicago area until I moved in February. Oh, well. I guess I'll never have a great Mac collection.

Well, looks like you have a start at least.
I've paired myself down to:
8600/G3 upgrade (400mhz overclocked 544MB RAM, Zip, CD, 8x CD-R, 2 HDD 4.2G & 4.5G)
1400/G3 (max RAM 233mhz, 700MB hdd)
Newton 2100 stock
E-mate 300 stock
Quadra 610 (25mhz full 040, 36MB, 2.1G hdd, 8X CD [might swap in a 4x CD-R])

no more! We gotta move!

Did you get my e-Mail? I remembered that my dad lives in Racine, WI and might be able to swing down and pick up some of the parts. More details in the e-Mail.Go to Top of Page

I got the e-mail, but haven't had a chance to sit down and answer it.
Basically I'd like a little something for the collection, as I'm not "super generous", but I would love to just hand your dad the following for you:
Mac Plus (max RAM)
Mac 512
6116CD Performa (has Quadra slot-load CD drive & bezel)
PM 6100
DOS Card for 6100 series
and some various do-dads that go with these machines

Have you got anything to trade?
I'm looking for:
Newton Flash cards
Powerbook 1400 battery charger or other items for it
SCSI hard drive over 2GB
any synthesizer stuff, like an old Casio SK-1 or something

Let me know either here or via e-mail.

Well, I don't have any of the stuff you're specifically looking for. I do have a RadioShack Rap Master keyboard, but I think I'll hang on to that.Go to Top of Page

That is the list of stuff I'm KEEPING.
I just finished putting a SER-001 board into that Newton so I can use the keyboard I bought..., there's no way I'd get rid of it unless I was replacing it a better one (meaning one with a cover).
Sorry.
