cory: When I saw the WS 6150/66 in the bin of stuff I was bidding on I though of you. The problem I'm having is that the 6150/66 and the 6100/60 only have HD-45 display connectors. So I have no way to test them. Apple's web site says they don't have floppy drives but they do. Cory send me an email: traviskrall@yadtel.netI have now tested the the 7100's and they work great. as well as the Performa 6214 CD. The PB 145B does nothing and the power supply is good. The PB 3400c just shows a white display. I hooked it up to an external monitor and it boots up just fine. I found out that the 3400c has the problem with the display unplugging from the logic board so I'm hoping that's what's wrong. I have to pick up a @#%$#^ star driver to fix the PowerBooks. The specs on the 3400c are 180MHz 603e 80 MB of RAM and a 1.43GB hard drive. I'll put images of the lot on my site Friday afternoon. I'll post to this thread once there up. SM I like it slow |

WOAH!!! if that's all that's wrong with the display I deffinitely want!!! Just name a price and I'll most likely pay it... depending on how high it is.. I got the equipment to take it apart and such, and am pretty much willing to buy it even if you don't get the thing apart to reconnect the screen... ________________ foetoid, that's (fee-toy-duh) http://www.foetoid.doesntexist.com Edited by - foetoid on 18 Apr 2003 08:10:19 |

This might be the wrong place to mention this, but for anyone interested in 7100's, I've got a sweet Sonnet G3 upgrade for the 61/71/8100 series that I don't need anymore. If I recal correctly, it ticks along at 266 mHz, and has 512k cache. In short, this thing kicks ass, and the jump in speed is totally astonishing. I've been planing on putting it on eBay, but if someone here wants to make an offer, be my guest. I'd be happy to sell it, or even trade it for something cool (mac-related, musical, videogames, etc.). I'm really hoping for a Newton 2x00 or eMate, but I'm not holding my breath... Oh, and the G3 card has the box, manuals, floppys, and everything else it came with. Later, SpaceBoyOfficial MLA Raconteur AppleBASIC FOREVER! foetoid: The 3400c has problems. I can tell you right now that that PB was handled rough and didn't get much love. Another problem I'm having with it is that I'm getting nothing out of the ethernet adapter. I don't know if it just came unplugged from the logic board or what. I fix all the Macs I get so that I can sell them for more. I have to do this because at this time it's my only source of income. Send me an email all I will keep you informed about it and I will make an offer to sell it to you before I put it up for sale. My prices will always be lower then the average sale price on ebay. The PB also has a Lithium Ion battery not the cheeper NIMH batteries you find on ebay. I still have to see how long it will hold a charge. The guy I bought it from at the auction is going to give me another battery next week as well.I will trade a 7100 for a HDI-45 adapter and a PowerBook SCSI adapter HDI-30 SM I like it slow |
