Hi, Grafiti came installed on my Newton and I am wondering whether I should 'squigle it to oblevion' or leave it alone. Right now the printed text recogniser is working absoultely wonderfully, so Im thinking grafitis use may be a bit useless. Should I keep it, or get rid of it?

You can always re-install it from UNNA if you need it later. I generally keep my newton full, but not brimming to the top, with stuff. If you have the room, and it doesn't make a difference, may as well keep it to possibly "show off" to someone or somewhat. But, if you ARE strappped for room, feel free to delete it, and install later if needed.

I have 512kb left (I think, Im still getting use to how it runs) but once I get myself a cable, I am getting a lot of software on the thing. And the flash card Im getting is marked for a large collection of Newton books...

Am I right in saying that squigling the icon out deletes the whole application?

That should delete it just fine, but if you want to be sure, change it to list mode in the extras drawer by tapping the dot next to the two scroll buttons. Then you can select it with a checkmark, and hit delete.
