has anyone done any intersting hacks to a IIsi or IIci?
I have 1 of each just lying around, and cant think of a good hack/mod for them.

Any suggestions at all?

Hmm, well one hack I've heard for the IIsi is converting the case to hold full, upright Nubus cards or such. For the IIci, find 2 or 3 of the Radius Rocket cards(33MHz ones if possible), then one of the PowerPro 601(is that the name?) cards, stuff them all inside and see how fast you can make the whole thing go. Bet it could keep up with the 81xx powermacs doing RC5. You'll want a better power supply though. Not exactly a hack, but it would be real cool to see. Expensive, though.

Run the IIsi sitting on it's side, like a minitower.
It's not a hack, but you can tell I'm obsesssed with junk like that...

I'd say that you could... hack a monitor into the top of the IIci, creating a 68k iMac (but with a CRT monitor) you could have the video cable go down thru the base (and the power)...

I always thought of putting ahole in the front and a bracket to hold a built-in SCSI CD-ROM. This requires obtaining a longer SCSI cable with enough space between plugs to go from one to the other, and also a molex power cable splitter.

Beware! The power supply in the IIsi is smaller and may not handle the extra load, I havent tried it yet.
