I have some money I am willing to renew 68kmla.com, but do I have to wait till it fully expires? I'm thinking right now they would have a hard time letting u renew etc being that it's already technically expired. E-mail me, citonx600@telus.net. |

I was talking to catsdorule and apparently DaPengiun was going to find a registrar service that would let him run @68kmla.com mail services, but he hasn't done it, yet.~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

With the service I am with right now (registar), I can easily forward HTTP traffic elsewhere (not a redirect, it is set in DNS stuff), and still allow mail to go there. It costs $30 a year, and I'd be willing to pay half of it. It would work fine for HTTP right away, but mail would have to wait till I get a static IP. I don't want to set up a bunch of dyndns addies, then switch them over.~The Penguin **| Want free 68kmla email? Well I can provide e-mail services for the 68kmla through my servers, and it's easy to setup various subdomains and links to the forums etc.And you wouldn't need the yearly fee for the mail service. All it costs is 10 dollars once the domain has gone beyond the redemption period, so I don't mind at all, I can set it all up then you ca n tell me where to point the various hosts. Plus there will be a control panel so any Admin of the 68kmla can login and change settings, setup ftp accounts, create subdomains for extra content created by members and give members access to specific areas (directory based security). Anyways let me know how we should do this, I can even send off 10US to DaPenguin for some of that yearly e-mail service if that's how folks would like it. :)

I can DNS Host 68kmla.com if that is what is needed. I have a top-level DNS server, and can ethier host the full domain, or just the mail exchanger entries.let me know CCC Commander Promotion: 19 Mar 2003 13:06:30 68k Macs Rescued: 2 Pluses, a 512KE, a Classic II, a Q650, a Q660AV, an SE/30, and a MacII Contraband rescued: Power Computing PowerBase 200, a PM 8600/300, and a PM8500/180 Apple //s rescued: Apple //e |
