anyone knows how to read dos/windows 1.44mb disks from system 7.1?

PC Exchange is only for OS 7.6(or was it 7.5?) and above.
i have system 7.1

Actually, it will work on System 7.1 and above. I used it on my LCIII back in grade 6 when it had System 7.1. It worked fine.

Damnit. Ah well, at least you're getting some free time to have a bit of a play around. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't touched any sort of Mac in two months. Damn Dell. Sure, its nice to have a brand new PC from a good PC maker, but still.....iMiss the stability and ease of use of Mac OS X on my iMac......

Ah well, holidays are coming up, so then i'll be able to get back to the iMac and other machines, plus build the killer NuBus PPC!

Without looking, my recollection is that System 7.1 came with Apple File Exchange, a separate utility that would read PC disks and translate PC files into Mac ones, and vice-versa.
