Actually, it will work on System 7.1 and above. I used it on my LCIII back in grade 6 when it had System 7.1. It worked fine.Btw, ido, its great to see you back down here in the barracks. -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

Damnit. Ah well, at least you're getting some free time to have a bit of a play around. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't touched any sort of Mac in two months. Damn Dell. Sure, its nice to have a brand new PC from a good PC maker, but still.....iMiss the stability and ease of use of Mac OS X on my iMac......Ah well, holidays are coming up, so then i'll be able to get back to the iMac and other machines, plus build the killer NuBus PPC! -------------------------- Give your dreams a chance.™ - Apple in the mid '90s Warrior maclover5 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

Without looking, my recollection is that System 7.1 came with Apple File Exchange, a separate utility that would read PC disks and translate PC files into Mac ones, and vice-versa./Mr Lynn The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn’t have a space program. --Larry Niven |
