 How well will A/UX run on this machine?

Quadra 700, 25 Mhz full '040, 20 megs of RAM, 250 meg HD.

I can stick a 500 meg in (from the 8100, which is getting 2 1 giggers rammed into its drive bays) it the 250 isn't big enough.

Stick in some VRAM and the 500 MB drive and it will run very well.

'They' say that you want the largest display possible for any kind of unix system, especially a graphic one like A/UX

I, have run it just well at 512 by 384 on the IIsi a 20 MHz 030 machine with 33 MB of RAM....

I'd suggest that if you can find it, a wee bit more RAM and yeah, the 500 MB drive should be fine..
