http://cuc.mine.nu/cam.shtmla webcam run through my pm7600, monitoring my computer lab/garage/junk storage. With a little luck you can find me and my friends in there on friday/saturday nights CET , but most likely you will only see arrangements of toys. I also made a night light out of a red LED, but it´s not strong enough to actually light anything up . //onionkid /////////////////// http://w1.635.telia.com/~u63505716/cuc/gfx/tehlab/28.jpg |

That's a fun use for a 7600 -- and perfect light level for the "night" light. Any chance you could tell us about the hardware and software that you used for this webcam?Cheers, G4From128k by Day: Mild-Mannered Engineer and Trapeze(tm) Artist by Night: Colonel of Truth, Justice, and the Macintosh Way Reserve Officer in 68kMLA Cantankerous Coot Contingent

The camera is a normal videocamera connected to the 7600 with a composite video cable. The software it is running is macos 9.1 (i think) and the program used for fetching the picture is VideoScript (or something like that). The picture is hosted at the 7600 (MacHTTP), but the page is located on one of my servers. So, there you have it ------------ No life - No problems 68k Macs Liberated: 10 |

Thanks for the info. BTW, I especially like this picture from your site:http://cuc.mine.nu/gfx/tehlab/Bild%2028.jpg I would also encourage you to contribute what ever you know about any of the old computers that you have to either http://www.machine-room.org/ or http://www.old-computers.com/ . For example, not much is known about your Esselte 100 shown in: http://cuc.mine.nu/gfx/tehlab/Bild%2048.jpg Have a great day/evening/night/morning/etc. G4From128k by Day: Mild-Mannered Engineer and Trapeze(tm) Artist by Night: Colonel of Truth, Justice, and the Macintosh Way Reserve Officer in 68kMLA Cantankerous Coot Contingent

I think onionkid said something that he was going to do that, but I'm not really sure. I'm not sure we know so much about it ourselves.. ------------ No life - No problems 68k Macs Liberated: 10 |

Ah, the Ess100-documentation, almost forgot about it . the camera is now aimed at my p475 which is currently working as a scanner computer as the Color OneScanner isnt supported by X, and theres no room for it near any of the PM:s. ohwell, time for porridge, laters /////////////////// http://w1.635.telia.com/~u63505716/cuc/gfx/tehlab/28.jpg |
