Hi I just got some quick questions before I take my PB 170 mobile. I would like the menu's to stay open when I click them once, so I dont have to hold them down, like in OS 8. Is there a utility that can do this?.

Also, I have two working batterys. I'm pretty sure I conditoned both of them before I charged them. When I'm trying run the PB of the battery I get the normal pop and screen flash and then the machine turns off, if I try it again it won't even pop. I've reset the power manager on the PB. On the charger there's a green light for charging, I suppose solid green is charging and flashing is full. If it helps the charger is called PowerChargerPLUS.

Help on either subject would be great, thanks.

Mac-Man6,

Go to:

http://www.jagshouse.com/classicsoftware.html

You will see "Sticky Click" about a quarter of the way down the page, under Utilities.

I just downloaded it, so if you have any troubles, I can always e-mail it to you.

The battery thing can be solved by shelling out the money for a new battery (I know that's not what you want to hear). The older ones, conditioned or not, just don't seem to cut it...ever.

Cheers,

Thanks, I got that utility downloaded and fixed the problems with the battery. But alas!, I butchered the internal video cable and I have no video :(. Well actually I got crazy colour video on a black and white screen.

hey! think of it as an 'upgrade' to a color screen

like an itunes visualization.
