hehehe...Someone should get manufacturing rights to OLD apple machines and start a second run of the 68ks! I call total rights on A/UX, the Quadra 605, the Quadra 840AV, the Quadra 950, the 'Book 190c (with the screen from the 3400 subwoofer and all) among other things  Official 68k videographer

Why cant somebody make a 840av with a 68060 @ 1Ghz and use ddr memory. I think the 68060 is compatible with the code for 68040

Apple actually used the 68050 in their laser printers but never the 060. I think some Amiga or Atari upgrades did use them though. i wouldn't be surprised if they compare well to the 601's but start flagging around the 603e processor level, well that's my educated guess!--------
