I just got my Lombard with OSX, and those fancy graphical features in finder is bugging me off. Do you know of any patches to cut down on it ?

Like what?

I turn my shrink effect to Scale and to Graphite instead of Aqua for the buttons. I like it btter that way.

ShadowKiller - to eliminate the shadows

ClearDock - you can change Dock transparency and color
- Requires Application Enhancer

Those two right there should give you a good boost when killing main graphic effects.

Make sure you are running 10.2.4, the speed difference between this and older versions of OS X is HUGE!

Don't take away my Graphic Eye Candy!

Yeah... the upgrade to 10.2.4 and turning off some of this stuff will make you a happy OSX camper
