Hi there, folks! Well, I recently bought a Color Classic from Catsdorule. Everything went fine, at least, until it arrived, when I discovered that it had been badly smashed during shipping. Sigh. The Cats and I are trying to figure out filing an insurance claim, but it's taking forever... Anyway, amazingly, the little beastie still works, despite the dramatic damage it suffered at the hands of CanadaPost. For pics, look here: <<WARNING: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!>> http://homepage.mac.com/huckdunsany/PhotoAlbum14.html Okay, so, as you can see, it's pretty well trashed. Which leads me to my main question: Does anyone have a Color Classic case (outside plastic parts) that they'd be willing to sell/trade/donate? I bought this CC with the intention of turning it into a super-upgraded PPC/CC (I've got a 6500/275 mobo, slot-loading SCSI CD-ROM drive, 20-gig tiny HDD, etc- I did my preperations well!), but as it stands now, if I continue with the upgrade, well, it'd be pretty fugly. I'd really like this thing to be pretty, hence the search for new plastics. Thanks, and any tips/ideas/suggestions/comments are more then welcome! :-) SpaceBoyOfficial MLA Raconteur AppleBASIC FOREVER! well... you COULD get an older compact mac case, completely cut off the top of the case of the color classic, and make an extension (with spare PSU to power cards and other internal peripherals) that will extend above the case, therefore, enabling you to have drivespace and junk like tat, get some more 3.5" drive bays, maybe even a 5.25 or 2 THNxnx "I'm a consumer whore! and how!"
