Does any one have this programme.
It came as a seperate part of M/S Word 3. Unlike other dictionaries that either work online or only when you upon up a wordprocessing programme, this little beauty would work as a desktop accessory.
Also, it had the ability to be loaded with new words . so it could learn.
I do a lot of writing so it would be very useful.
But do you think I could find one on the net. ?
Nah no such Luck.
I've tried Excaliber ......Yuck !
Strange how all the programmers out there must have thought that there must be zillions of Dictionary programs..but for Mac there are none that are programmable and expandable.
So over to you guys. It's become my Holy Grail Quest

Thanx Folks

I have Mircrolytics' Word Finder and The Element of Style (Strunk & White. I purchased them for my origina 512 Mac and recently tried to install them on my iMac. The iMac did not recognize the format (thought it was a PC)... I don't know what steps I could take next - any suggestions?

if you have a beige mac with a 1.44 floppy, you pop the 400k floppy that the software came on into it, and copy the files off. put in a 1.44 mb floppy disk into the beige mac, and copy the files onto it.

the 400 and 800k floppies of that era do not play nice with today's USB floppy drives.

anyway, good luck
