I acquired these items from ebay, I bought them because I wanted other things that came with them. I will be putting them on ebay, but thought of posting here first.

Duo keyboards, 1 faulty 1 unknown condition:- £3

2 duo batteries, both believed dead:- £enough to cover P&P

scsi cable, 25 pin D to a square connector:-£3

scsi cable, has a 25 pin D but this is not the usual type it is less chunky than the "normal"? 25 pin D & other end of lead is a square connector again.:-£3

optical drive with 1 128MB disk & 5 230MB disks. I only had partial success with the drive getting some information from the 128MB disk, but I was informed that the disk was "corrupt" & I couldn't format them as I needed a different driver:-£5

I really am unsure as to what to ask for all these items, but am just looking to recoup a little.

Hey Shak,

Might be interested in the Optical drive. Who is is made by? What drivers did you use initially? I presume this is external SCSI?

I've got 2x32mb SIMMS available if ur interested. Suitable for LC/Quadra/Performas.

Let me know

I Don't know who the drive is made by, The only writing on the casing is "S/N944209531" & "CNP310 serial number CPL54971", this is two little stickers that are on the drive casing.

The drive has the following ports;

Power in
scsi x2

It also has an scsi id changer

I have scanned pics of the drive, so let me know if you want me to email them to you.

Apple System Profiler's "Devices & Volumes" tab will show you the name of mechanism maker and model number of the guts of the thing. Various SCSI and disk drive utilities will also reveal this info.

The drive is described as a "hard drive"
made by Fujitsu
Product id:m2512a
revision number 1314

I havn't bothered trying any "other drivers" with the drive, as I have no idea where to begin looking nor what I'm looking for. I did try the other night at Apple older software but, couldnt see anything well I just searched for 5.3.3 or whatever version was quoted for me in the 68k peripherals forum.

I am not asking for help, I want to get rid of the drive.

Yes I want the memory, a straight swap?

There isnt a cable with the drive, power or scsi, connection is 50 pin.

Are you willing to pay towards P&P?

As the drive & the disks will be fairly heavy.

Shak,

We can do a straight swap. 2x32mb for the drive. (Mems worth about a £6)

I can throw in the 16mb SIMMs as an extra to cover the postage charges which shouldn't be too much. Unless the drive is really heavy.

Hows that sound?

No it's not like this, it is about;

20cm long
12cm high
10cm wide

I have just put it in a box so they are rough measurements.

The disks it takes are about the size of a floppy disk.

The drive isn't massivley heavy, though the disks do add weight.

It'll probably cost me up to £5 to send at a guess.

I am not interested in the 16Mb simms.
