I've gone and...done it again.

Put the finishing touches on what is now my fourth self-produced album, after starting work on it less than two months ago. It's shorter than the others at just 45 minutes total, but I think it works well and I'm surprised I came up with even that much since January. Everything's mastered in Deck 3.5 instead of ProTools 5 like #3 was, and I put a lot of use into Reason and my new Oxygen 8 (which took me a week t figure out how to use).

So far the album title is "The Sect of the Atramentous", but that may change. I need to come up with some cover art now...and eventually try to get large numbers of it and album #3 made to finally start selling them outside my circle of meat friends.

I put three of the ten songs up on my IUMA page (they're the first 3 on the main list), they'll also show up on my mp3.com page in a couple weeks (grumble grumble mp3 dot friggin com).

Check 'em out!

You like the Oxygen8? I traded my CS1-X for one a while back, but haven't played with it too much because, well Cubase and my main Mac do not get along well at all (fkn Steinberg!!!).
Any tips for it will be appreciated.

Well I visited the link, got a horrid pop up window, & I cant read mp3's, I was intrigued I truly was so if you want to email me a song, in erm mp2 or aiff(aiff being a suffix for an apple specific file format(I have been qutoted this a few times) & yet being a suffix can it be an apple format as apple dont use suffixes they use metadata & by suffixes I mean the extension at the end of the file & is aiff just an apple iff?, lol like we had amiga iff's & st iff's & pc had iff's as well I think, they are Interchangeable File Format, which wasn't very interchangeable or at least didn't get used much that way.

erm sorry cine if you send me an aiff or an mp2 then I will be happy to listen.

ditch cubase, and get MOTU's DP3, it kicks the ass of the rhino.

odd analogy, but I am tired.

I think it's MpegDec you need for 68k MP3 playback.
