I got the toast image from ftp://ftp.geo.tu-freiberg.de too and I could'nt figure out how to burn it in Roxio Toast Titanium 5. The finder thought the images were simpletext files and I Toast would'nt see them in the "open" dialog box. Is there a beginner and advanced mode in Toast? How do I burn this image to CD? was the image compressed as a .sit, or encoded as a .hqx file?if not, you have lost the res. fork, and you are borked with the image. try downloading from www.archaic-apples.com and download in BINARY mode. I think that I had the same problem, but managed to fix it....somehow. anyway, good luck with A/UX I installed it on my 650, and it thinks that the 650 is a WGS95 :P hehehe CCC Lieutennant Commander (Pronounced Leftennant) 68k Macs Rescued: 2 Pluses, a 512KE, a Classic II, a Q650, a Q660AV, and a MacII Contraband rescued: Power Computing PowerBase 200, a PM 8600/300, and a PM8500/180 Apple //s rescued: Apple //e |

by the way, it's not that it thinks the 650 is a WGS95, its that that is the way that image was created, to be shipped with the WGS95. Apple's documentation probably warned WGS95 owners of catastrophic events happening if they even thought of using the A/UX on any different mac silly apple!Official 68k videographer Official MLA TourGuide |
