I have made my first real 68k liberation! Through collaberation over email, I found someone who had a centris 650 lying unused in their garage that they didn't want. I went and picked it up today and boy is it a beauty. I haven't gotten to play with it yet because I don't have a mac monitor =(. Does anyone know if there is a way to connect a PC monitor to a mac or if there is a way to get a cheap mac monitor? I really want to play with my new machine but have not been able to.

cool!
where do you live near?
I'm sure that there might be a liberator around you or many places where one of us can point you to get a monitor and whatever else is needed for that sweet liberation

Good work!

BTW, I have three of just the type of adapters you need (male Mac to female VGA). How's $5 sound?

that sounds just like what he needs (although, since you offered one of them to me too.... )

will that work jscipione?
do those adaptors work with the centris/quads? I remember one not working with a Mac IIci and a LCII... but that was way back when I didn't know anything, and those were pre-multisync macs

Are you anywhere near Philadelphia? I've got a couple spare "Apple Basic Color Monitors" and at least one still has the necessary adapter. If you're not in driving distance of Philly, sorry, I really don't want to ship them...too much overhead.

E-mail me if you're interested.

Darn, that is exactly what I needed, unfortunately, I already bought one =P. Your deal is much better than what I bought mine for though =(. oh well thanks anyway.

ckealey: way too far from Philly, sorry =P
