Hello, I got/had a a Quadra 650 with a busted power supply and I have a LC 475. Can I swop the Quadra's 33mhz processor to the LC 475?, and maybe get A/UX running on it?.Thanks. You can swap the 650s 33Mhz/040 cpu in place of the LC475s 25Mhz/LC040 - which will give you a LC475 running a 25Mhz full 040 just fine. It'll also leave you able to overclock the 475 and run it at 33Mhz later if you need, and the CPU can handle it. A/UX however, doesn't like 475s - I think it's the video side that's unsupported. For more info on A/UX and the machines it supports, see the A/UX FAQ at: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/aux-faq/ and Applefritter's pages about it at: http://www.applefritter.com/ui/aux/ dana
