I deleted the trash!!!

there was a folder called trash on my hard drive, and I deleted it!!!

I threw it away, and it told me it had to be deleted immediately, so I clicked yes, now I doubleclick on trash, and it tells me it cant find it!

I try create another trash folder, and it tells me that the folder cannot be used because it is reserved for the system!!!

BAH

This one really hurts my brain -- putting the trash can in the trash can.

Hmmm..... If the trash can is inside itself, that means that the trash can is also outside itself. But the entire universe is also outside the trash can which is inside the trash can. I can only hope that the univese does not get sucked into this infinite loop of trash can regression.

Definitely getting Kernel Panics in the cerebral cortex here.

no. with the entire MLA trying to comprehend this, the spacetime constant will slowly rip itself apart in... 50 different places, therefore bringing about the end of the universe...

or our brains could just explode, and that particualr mac's hard drive will implode onto itself... fua ha ha

Thxnxn

LOL! Reminds me of a little Resedit hack on the 128k that replaced the Trash can with a black hole.

OMG!

let's do that to a winBox.... .ME think that a WinXP machine would actually have a problem with this... but it sounds like clinton's mac didn't complain at all

Hmmm...were you connected to another Mac via AppleTalk or whatnot?

IIRC, there are folders for Trash and Desktop Folder on the root level of the network drive...
