memphis got two inches of snow last night, so we dont have school today.... being a southern city we dont have all the snowplows and such so everything just kinda shuts down  anybody else snowed in? -------------

We've gotten some snow out here in Colorado, but it never makes any difference for two reasons. First, it just encourages all the SUV-driving idiots around here to drive too fast (crashed SUVs by the highway are about as common as beer cans by the highway). Second, I work from home, so unless our home's roof were to collapse and dump snow between the bedroom and the office, I'll never get a "snow day".But don't let my cantankerous complaining ruin your fun. Snow? Ha ha ha!Well, we do have black clouds and rain here...and it's down to a chilly 48F, which is damn cold for L.A. (it hit 80 on Friday). The sun is starting shine through the dark clouds, though... 666th poster and 666th thread-creator

Here in Indiana we get snow at night, wake up snow is on ground, go to school by first hour it's all melted away, but by no means is it warm here.... We just don't get snow to stay for the last couple years.... Guess it doesn't like us.________________

Yesterday it just RAINED. Grrr why did it have to pour on the day that i would be walking on a narrow and long footpath behind a very slow moving crowd to university? Here in western Ohio we have been getting a lot of snow lately. We seem to get a storm every weekend. I can't wait for it all to melt! The total this winter so far is 45 or so inches (a lot for around here). I'm sick of running the snowblower! Sure, crappy weather cancels school, but who wants to make up days at the end of the year?? quote:
