I have lots of older Apple stuff. Are you looking for anything certain, of just anything for the right price? Thanks!

I have an Apple IIe w/ 80 column text card, green display, dual disk drive, printer, and original boxes for most of it. I also have an IBM 8086, I think it was the first one ever mass produced... Don't really know for sure though. It's got a green display and printer as well. That's pretty much it. If the laptop hadn't died, I could have offered a 286 laptop with Tandy's Deskmate on it... and if our 286 desktop hadn't fallen into my hands at an explorative age I could have offered that with HeadStart OS on it (resembled dosshell in a way) and it had a CD-ROM drive... Oh well, let me know if you're interested...

lemmieguess?
te 286 desktop is a magnavox HeadStart?

I remember the HSOS, it was cool, it let you get into all sorts of places you should not be able to get into

I had the HeadStart CD, and used the monitor from it until it died in 1998.

do you still have the disks from the headstart, or the carcass of the 286 laptop?

I enjoy ressurecting technology almost as much as I like collecting it :)

is the 8086 IBM the PC? or the PCXT?

let me know.

I may be able to harvest all the HeadStart stuff... The machine is still around, just not functioning... The laptop is gone, and the IBM is PC XT. I've also got a 386 laptop and a 486 laptop (both by toshiba) that might be able to function with some work. The 386 would never really be useful, but the 486 might. It has a color screen and some other stuff.

hey, I actually *used* a 286 laptop at one time. it ran great with NewDeal Office installed, which is kinda like Win95, except with office, and everything else you'd need. It runs on everything from an 8088 on upwards. I am interested in almost everything, with the possible exception of the XT. I already have one. are there any interesting cards in yours?

anyway, let me know what would be reasonable compensation, or how you want to handle shipping.
thanks
