Hi everybody, I recently won a Duo 280c off of eBay but the seller sent me a 270c by accident. He has agreed to let me exchange the 270c for the 280c. So that is good, I am not getting scammed, one question though, as I sort of need to have the powerbook now rather than 10 days from now (3-5 business days to get to him, then 3-5 business days back) should I ask him if it is ok to keep the 270c? I know it has a slower processor and it can hold less RAM, but the unit he sent me has 24 megs of ram and the 280c that I would get has only 4. Also since he has agreed to cover the cost of shipping for both of the units from here on out, it looks like he won't make any money off of the 270c once he gets it back. So what would YOU guys do? perhaps you could send some extra $$ to keep the RAM when you ship the 270 back to him?FireWire is fast General, 4 star Forum moderator 68k Macintosh Liberation Army |

Or you could just make an offer to buy the 270 off him too... :)GORDOOM Commander, Academic Operations Reserve (University of Toronto, St. George Campus) total Macs liberated: 14 (as of January 7, 2002) "...the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." |
