I wrecked my car Sunday.... and my face... I have to get the picture rehosted on the internet, but you guys will see my face soon enough! Some already have. Basically I started going into the other lane while driving on snow and turning down the radio and I corrected a lil too much and did a 180 and slid right into a snow pile... and a rock... went airborne.... if snowpile wouldn't have been there, I probably wouldn't be here.... you get the idea...

I think that wearing my seatbelt was one of the few things I always did right in the car.

wait... is this the Geo thing that looks REALLY ******* LITTLE????? like almost like a skateboard or something? because we had one and My mom got rid of it because she wouldn't have wanted me or my brother one day driving that thing and getting run over by something bigger... the only thing that woule possibly have influenced me to drive that little pieceof .... (nice words) "fiberglass" is that it would have been cheap (probably free) to me... :-\ mebbey mebbey not

I'm glad your okay. I had a simular experience once about 10 or 11 years ago, only a Tracktor-Trailer almost sideswiped me to throw me into the spin. People actually pay money for those kinds of "G"s at the amusment park. Best thing you can do is learn from it, but don't let it psyche you out. The one that took me a little while to get over was when I dumped a Honda Goldwing at 60mph and took out (flattened) a couple guard rail posts after hitting sand. I walked away from it, but the memory stuck with me for some time when I'd get up to speed.

When I first passed by this thread, I thought someone took a potatoe launcher to a Mac again.

The Prizm is a Toyota Corolla. I'm surprised you were flung from the car if you were wearing a seatbelt, unless it failed (which can happen, especially in older cars).

Another case in proof that solid forms of water are not conducive to life. I left the snow twenty years ago and will never miss it. Todays weather was mid eighties bright and sunny.

I don't know if you saw over at Stryders forum or not, but my friend Cait is all mad at me now too, but you know, I'm still good, don't know what Cait's mad at me about, but I think that because I'm so tired I just don't know what's goin on so I'm happy all the time.... I'm gonna take pics of the car and the old tranny soon.
