OK, I have an 8600, and an 8500. they are almost identical in mobo. They both have a 60pin connector at the bottom of the motherboard, next to the PCI slot, that looks like it would hold a ribbon cable. it is labeled "DAV" and next to it is a three pin connector labeled "GEOPORT CLOCK" the connector is the style of a PeeCee processor fan connector on the mobo. any idea what ethier of these conenctors are, and what I need to get to exploit them?
thnx

do your machines have AV ports on their rear? or is the DAV slot something you connect to a PCI card or something? I thought that that was where you connected the AV I/O that should come on the 85 and 8600...

Yeah, I'm having fun. I've been in and out so much lately, it's hard to spend any solid free time on here for AIM. I'll make sure to pop on tonight or tomorrow night. I'm almost caught up on the majority of things.

Yeah, its the port for those A/V -in and -out jacks that should be on the back of the machine.
