I am posting from my Quadra 840AV and trying to fix a few glitches it keeps running into.

The RasterOps Video card is having problems displaying video with any monitor that is hooked up to it, you have to kinda jiggle it in place and it won't keep the video signal after you let go. I am going to assume that somewhere down the road I am going to have to reseat the pins on the vga-15 section of the board and re-solder them, but I am unaware of how to do this or even if that is the right solution.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you're on the right track. You may be able to get away with reheating the solder, while adding a touch of fresh solder to the join. Or you'll have to remove the connector and put a new one in You will find life easier if you buy a 'solder sucker' (about $15 from an electronics shop), or if you use a solder braid, to remove solder from the join so that you can remove the connector.
