The only thing wrong with it is that I have been unable to get sound to work on it. I have even gotten another personality card for it, and no luck. Oh and the infamous volume thing on the front is also broken. There are also a couple of markings on one side. It is small but just wanted to let ya know.Right now it is a...

Your sound troubles might just be a stuck audio jack (the one on my G4 AGP is dodgy). Go to the "speaker setup" section of the "Sound" control panel and see if the Headphone icon is visible. If so, the switch that is built into the jack is stuck in the "plugged-in" position. hey... is this in OSX? because I had this prob on my AIO, it means that parts of your sys folder that control audio are corrupted, usually because of a power faulture (or an idiot parent not shutting down computer proprly) but if it's 9, then... fragged audio circutry.

I had a problem on the iMac like this... if you can see if the cables to the speakers and everything is ALL plugged in correctly, of course I don't know the g3AIO as well as I know the imacs...it might work though :-\ Official 68k videographer |
