....finding a Quadra 700 ROM for Basilisk II. I know its weird for a mod to post this sorta thing, but I have a Quadra 700, which is unfortunately in storage at the moment while we move, and because of that, I am unable to get to the machine to get the ROM off it, and i was wondering if someone who owns a Q700 could email me one. If any of the other mods think that this should be locked or deleted, please feel free to do so. Like i said though, I actually own a real, live, breathing Quadra 700, but like i said, i can't use it at the moment, and i need to somehow get its ROM onto my Dell, so i can use Basilisk II. Great! Mac OS 8.1 works fine! did you drag the network extention to C:|WINDOWS|SYSTEM?read the readme files under networkin in basalisk. good lucvk

Did you install the Basilisk II network driver in your Local Area Network properties box? (Where you configure your TCP/IP settings)??Also you've got the right network card selected in Basilisk II GUI? (I've got two) I run Basilisk on a Dell P4 1.9 and 8.1 runs like lightning. Sometimes it can be a bit painful to go back to the real thing!
