Wow...a bunch of my stuff on eBay just ended and I'm a little surprised. My PowerIIci fetched $81!!! I guess I probably spent that much putting it together...but it's still a surprise. The dead Duo 280 got a little over $15 and even that weird Avid MediaShare box got $4 and change.Looks like I'll be getting more than just a wireless router soon...hmmm... 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hardware Page: http://cineware.sytes.net |

Yeah, the router went for $36...just shipped it yesterday. Not quite as much as I wanted for it, but oh well!666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hardware Page: http://cineware.sytes.net |

Congrats on the nice sale... but don't be so surpised el_cine. Those PPC601 cards go for $35-$50 by themselves on eBay all the time. The PAS16 would probably go for another $15-$20, and the 4 16MB SIMMs go for at least $20-$25 regularly. Add just those three items up, and you've got $70-$95. Then add the IIci case, mobo and PSU, along with the Radius card, and you have your $81 winning bid -- or more! Yeah, I paid $25 for the PA6-16 and $25 for the RAM. The video and 10bT cards were free liberations, the IIci case/mobo/PSU were maybe $5 and I can't remember where I got the Turbo 601 from. Did I buy it off eBay? Or trade for it? Hell, I don't know. All I know is that I did at least break even, which for computer hardware is a good thing!666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 My Site: http://cine.sytes.net My Hardware Page: http://cineware.sytes.net |
