this lady decides that she needs to put her PowerBook in the oven for 20 minutes... and it STILL WORKS

what do you think they should do with it? (other than send it to you, because I call the machine if they send it to anyone)

I think they should replace the keybaord, rip off the screen and use it as a "console" like I used my Compaq Conture 386laptop for so long

or they should turn it into a LC like computer, in a flat case

Sweet Jesus...I wonder if she was insane or just trying to destroy it on purpose? Who knows...

But, I'd love to have it just to hack it into a color classic or something!

I can't believe the display still functions!

hehehe... I still think that a "console" hack would have been great... or use it as a server.... except 10.2 server wont run on a PowerBook

MMMph...

this brings up two interesting points...

1) what in HELL was this lady thinking!?! was she like DRUNK or something?! stupid, stupid people.

2) the amazing durability of powerbooks! I don't think there is a SINGLE PC laptop that could take more than 2 mins in an oven! damn cheapo plastic cases

-the lady buys a new laptop and puts it in the microwave for 20 mins-

Oven, actually. Had she put it in a microwave for 20 minutes, both the microwave and the PowerBook would have exploded!!!
