School cancelled cause of snow today, so I did a one-day hack.

It's kinda based on the LCIIIgs (on applefritter if you want to see it) that I made, but in an ancient DTN receiver box

I had trouble fitting the psu in the case, which is the same depth as a LC case, but not as wide. So... i took it apart, and soldered some 12 gauge leads to it. I connected these to the power cord that was on the box to begin with, and used the original switch, a huge @ss rocker, to control the mains power. The hard drive is mounted on top of the LC-PDS NIC (for now), and there is no floppy drive (who needs those?) I have some pics up at http://68k.dyndns.org/webfiles/quadrajet/datalinelc.html

I plan on giving this thing a good paint job when I have time, if the weather ever decides to cooperate

Since I was kinda snowed in today, I improved the hack a bit. I put an overclocked (42mhz) LC475 mobo in it, moved the PSU, and put a 500mb hard drive in it. To improve airflow, I made a round scsi cable. To make it fit on my desk beside my Peecee, I had to sit it on its side. Since the vents are on the side, I made some Feet from duct tape and Smirnoff Ice bottle caps- the red bottle cap feet give the '80s style case a nice touch
