I just picked up an 840AV so I could run all the old 68k software on the top-of-the-line machine. (actually I got two of them for $20).

Never done any video capture or editing. Anyone tell me a good book and what software and version to use? The one I've heard about is Avid Videoshop. Do I need any extra hardware stuff?

BTW: I've got a stack of Centris 610's here in NE Ohio to give out locally for kid/starter computers. They will still do everything they would do when they were new.
