Congratulations on your pack of Flat Pack Macs (Notice that I did not call them pizza boxes ). LCII's! There's a bunch of Turbo 040 cards on eBay recently. I thought we'd decided upgarding an LC 2 isn't worth it when you can get a 605/475 for less AND overclock it!One of those upgrades might be worth it as a collectors item but I wouldn't be buying more than one that's for sure. Didn't the one you mention last time for for 40 USD!! -------- LC 2, LC 3, Q605, Perf 638, Colour Classic (160 603e) 6100, 7200, PTP 225 (Quad 604), PM 9600, G4 Cube |

if I were you in that situation, I'd try to get 14 identical monitors and set myself up a nice little lab, get a server to store everything on and let the neighborhood kids come in and test the power or keep it all to yourself, and just stare at it all day long Official 68k videographer |

Flash got the right link. I chucked a 33 MHz chip in but had to reset the resitors to get it to run at 33. I would have gone straight for 40 but unfortunately I didn't have any spare resistors. Getting 33 MHz is pretty simple you just swap to resistors around, all you need is a good pair of tweesers and a soldering iron. -------- LC 2, LC 3, Q605, Perf 638, Colour Classic (160 603e) 6100, 7200, PTP 225 (Quad 604), PM 9600, G4 Cube |
