You can use the software available on nVidia's site or any of the older versions available elsewhere on the web. I had to use a little older one in the machine I was using it in due to some funky IBM BIOS issues.

That 2.5 gig IDE drive looks good. Is 40-pin a standard IDE interface, or would I need an adaptor for most computers (like 68-pin SCSI)?

40-Pin IDE is standard, you will have no problems unless you have a machine that is proprietory and they decided to mess with an established protocall.

Such companies should be publicy shot, like:

HP, Compaq, Packard Bell and the list goes on.

I've yet to meet a company that uses a proprietary interface to connect IDE HDDs, so you should be safe with the HDD. Even Apple uses the industry standard 40pin connector, which is amazing, considering apple is proprietary EVERYTHING, especially on the older macs ;)

BTW, Cinemo, if you read this, I have not recieved any email from you, and am wondering if my spam protection has been getting it. Have you been replying to my emails, if so, please send an email to ccrawford_AT_sphs-web.lausd.k12.ca.us, so I can confirm a date to give money to someone at the shop.
thnx

Just want to mention, much of this stuff has been moved to eBay and some of it is no longer for sale (like the nVidia card and the 2.5GB IDE drive) because I'm using my "Project PC" after all (to install RedHat 8.0 on for my Linux Admin class). Sorry for the inconvenience...

What is still for sale can be found here.

Oh and clinton, I've just been ludicrously busy, but I do want to drive down this week to bring you the stuff. How's tomorrow or Wednesday?

If only I had a time machine...I could go back to the 80's and sell my Plus for a few grand. Then blow it all on cocaine...(pun intended)
