Howdy, folks! Just thought that I'd mentiont that, after midnight (that's next week for you Aussie's, right? ;-), I'll be 21! Ya know, it's strange, but I never thought I'd get this far... I mean, I actually remember, years ago, thinking "geez, it'll be a million years till I'm 21..." Time flies, eh?

Well happy birthday!

It is 11 here, but I do recall you being loser to the west, I need to go look at that map again!

It still seems like forever till I get there, but congrats on the achievement!

That means you haven't tried Snake Bite and Black*, or Aftershock, these are my two preffered drinks.

Failing that Cider's fine but it's not as easy to get a hold of here in Australia, not to mention measures of everything are far smaller.

*Technically from what I've been told Snake Bite and Black is illegal in the UK because it involves mixing alcohholic drinks from different makers in the same glass (not sure why it's different from cocktails though), apparently if any Cider makes made beer it would be OK, or if any beer makes made Cider that was worth drinking it would be OK. Use Ale instead of beer wherever possible! Because of this quite a few places won't serve it unless you are on good terms with those behind the bar. There's nothing to stop you mixing it at home though.

Welllll then......
After a nice dinner at "Quark's Bar and Resturant" (inside the "Star Trek Experience" at the Hilton on the strip- I had 'Moogie's Grub Pasta'), my sister, girlfriend and I spent a little time playing the nickel slots (I made $5.35 on a $2 investment! Woot! ), we stopped by the grocery store, picked up some cranberry juice and vodka, and came back to my house, where I proceded to get reallllly drunk, for the first time ever. I must be the only guy around who actually waited till he turned 21 before he started drinking!
Anyway, I got really smashed, and I only remember some of it- I seem to have been playing hop-scotch on the kitchen tiles, and telling some really funny jokes.... which I don't think were actually that funny...
Anyway, all-in-all, it was a great birthday! I don't think I'll be drinking again for a while, though..... bllleeeccch......

I was at a BBQ the other night and apart from the fact it must have been 50 degrees C in the house it was pretty cool. None of us had our shoes on so I suggested we try to write with our feet (the punch may have had something to do with that!) I'm going to post the results on my website later on! One girl was surprisingly good but she had done it before. My g/f wasn't too bad and managed to draw an emu!
