Aloha,I was wondering about the fact that some of Apple shares or held by Microsoft. How much of Apple is owned byh billy the kid ? Does it mean that MS can pull the plug when the race will get really hot ? ------------------------------------------------ Quadra 630,Quadra 605, 2 IIsi, Performa 400 and a SE. Need I say more ? |

A long time agon M$ had non-voting stock in apple. I forget how much, but monetary wise was close to a billion I do believe. They have since sold it though, it was sorta an under-the-counter deal for M$ having the GUI apple first utilized (Xerox invented it).I'm sure plenty more people can elaborate. ~The Penguin **| Want free 68kmla email?
